USA survey for anyone who wants to improve Denver TMAU test

A trainee genetic counselor is working at the Denver TMAU test lab. Probably as part of her training. As a project she wishes feedback on any aspect of the Denver TMAU test and process. You can fill in the survey and/or email her (email address is in survey). It's meant for USA people, but perhaps others can give their view too (as we have so few opportunities).

NORD request for proposals into TMAU research now on their website

NORD TMAU RFP 2011
As readers know, a tremendous effort was made by the TMAU community recently to raise funds for a National Organisation of Rare Disorders (NORD) research proposal for trimethylaminuria to be activated. Around $34,000 was reached, mainly because of the campaign by 2 volunteers on the rrr-tmau.org website.

Yesterday, the request for research proposals for 2011 was added to the NORD website, with Trimethylaminuria being listed as one. The NORD page with TMAU added as a RFP can be seen here

The initial letter of intent for any research proposal is to be received by 20th May. Hopefully all experts who may be interested are made aware of the opportunity. Well done to everyone who donated to the fund.
