Annual Thames Festival Meetup 2012

I am very excited to attend and am looking forward to seeing my friends at the Thames Festival Meetup 2012 that Arun holds annually.

I'll be coming from the United States just to meet you!

We will meet at the Tattershall Castle at 1:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, September 8th & 9th. This ship is moored on the River Thames near the Embankment Underground Station.

It is my understanding that some people will be staying at either of the following two hotels:

• Travelodge, London Central Tower Bridge Hotel: It is recommended that you request a rate quote for each day of your stay separately in order to get the lowest rates. Sometimes, if one of the days is not available at the lowest rate, it will give all the days at the higher rate.
• The second hotel is the Guoman Tower Hotel London, St. Katharine’s Way, London E1W 1LD, but it seems that their online lower rates of £95 may be sold out.

The last Thames Festival Meetup I was able to attend was in 2010, and here is a video I made to try to capture its spirit. It was such a wonderful experience being with all my friends in such a wonderful setting!
