The lab has found that certain small molecules can interfere with the enzyme in gut bacteria that alters precursors like choline/carnitine into trimethylamine.

The UK TMAU forum has a post about Dermetel, a DMB solution available for sale on Monday, December 10. This would be about equivalent to what we had hoped
Proctor & Gambel would bring out last year. Would you have any recommendations about taking this supplement? Do we know anything about possible side effects, etc.? Would it be safe for TMAU sufferers to try this? There are a lot of questions to be answered, and I am sure we would all appreciate some guidance on this!

It seems they are having a problem getting the product through customs or via the courier.
They need to get a special licence as its classed an alcohol and volatile.
Last I heard they were applying for the licence and hoped to get it on the 5th Jan.
