The National Academies Press (NAP) was created by the National Academies to publish the reports issued by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council, all operating under a charter granted by the Congress of the United States. NAP not only sell books and PDFs, but they also have more than 3,700 books online free.
Here's one entitled, Dietary Reference Intakes for Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin, and Choline (1998) Institute of Medicine (IOM), which explains the function of choline in the body as well as its physiology of absorption, metabolism, and excretion.
