Investigating TMA-oxide - Cardiovascular disease theory (2011 theory, Cleveland).
Looking at gut flora to determine which produce TriMethylAmine.
A big expensive study, many patients, with NIH backing.
This is perhaps the first time a mainstream USA lab has looked at what type of gut flora microbes create TMA in the gut from choline etc.
TMAO was associated with abundance of 13 genera (false discovery rate < 0.05), including Prevotella, Mitsuokella, Fusobacterium, Desulfovibrio, and bacteria belonging to the families Ruminococcaceae and Lachnospiraceae, as well as the methanogen Methanobrevibacter smithii.Link to abstract : TMAO and gut flora

Why haven’t we heard anything recent from Proctor and Gamble on the tma blocker pill for cardiovascular disease, I think that seems to be our only hope right now, this tmau condition has been around for many years now, and no one seems to be able to come up with any better treatment options for us other than dietary changes, seems kind of odd to me, but they can develop a corona virus and Ebola vaccine in a matter of months.
