Thames Festival 2012 & Paralympics

It was a pleasure to attend the Thames Festival Meetup 2012 and to meet many new people and the lovely people I have been working with on the various MEBO Research projects for the past year(s). I keep playing over and over again in my mind the different conversations and experiences we shared in this event, and reliving how happy I was in the company of my dear friends. Thank you to everyone who made it possible for me to take special memories home with me.

While I was in London during the meetup, the Paralympics were taking place. The street around the Tattershall Castle was blocked off for the marathon, and unfortunately, I missed this event. Nonetheless, we could see the street on the pictures in the slideshow above where it all took place.

London is a beautiful city, and it was particularly colorful during the whole of the Olympic events and Thames Festival. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have been in the midst of these events.
