'6 Sales' acquired Sales Represention for the Film

This would mean that the movie will be distributed, and many sufferers will be able to see it, and eventually hopefully purchase their own copy. Thanks to everyone who showed their support for this fine-quality Raising Awareness tool that has the potential of helping our international community in so many ways.

6 SALES Readies
The Boy Who Smells Like Fish
for Cannes Market after Miami Pick-up

a film by Analeine Cal y Mayor
Mexico, Canada | 2013 | 92 min. | trailer

Madrid-based 6 Sales has acquired sales representation rights for Analeine Cal y Mayor’s TheBoy Who Smells Like Fish out of the recent 30th Miami International Film Festival, where the teen comedy/drama had its world premiere at MIFF 2013, generating an enthusiastic audience response. Producers Niv Fichman (Rhombus Media, Canada) and Stacy Perskie (Redrum Films, Mexico) began negotiations in Miami with 6 Sales’ Head of Sales, Mar Abadin.
Douglas Smith, Milan Malisic, Kim Ly, Carrie-Anne Moss, Stacy Perskie, Jose Herrero, Gonzalo Vega, Don McKellar, Ariadna Gil, Zoë Kravitz, Javier Guillon, Niv Fichman, MIFF director Jaie Laplante

The massive stage at Olympia Theater’s Gusman Center for the Performing Arts was barely wide enough to welcome the cast and crew including Douglas Smith (HBO Series, “Big Love”),Zoë Kravitz (X-Men: First Class), Ariadna Gil (Pan's Labyrinth), Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) and Gonzalo Vega (Lo que importa es vivir).

"Director Analeine Cal y Mayor strikes just the perfect light note for one of the big screen's first ever examinations of an unusual medical condition. The musical fantasy sequences are unbeatable!" - Jaie Laplante, MIFF Executive Director
