HALITOSIS STUDY
QUESTIONNAIRE #2
Earlier this year on September 2013, Dr. Murat Aydin, DDS, PhD, Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology, conducted an experiment on halitosis in this blog, and he turned to the MEBO community for participation. His simple experiment indicates that saliva does not have much odor when it is alone. This is a significant finding because it suggests that the arterial concentrations of biological substances expelled in our breath through the alveoli in the lungs may be the source of malodor, as opposed to there being high levels of TMA or other odorous chemicals in the saliva.
Today, Dr. Murat has asks the MEBO community to participate again in another questionnaire for his study. He raises the following questions to persons who have had tonsillectomy surgery. Your participation in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
