Time change 8:00pm MEBO 2017 Meetup/Conference

Due to popular request,

the Meetup/Conference time has been changed

to 8:00 p.m.

Normally, MEBO's Annual Meetups/Conferences are held on Saturdays at noon, which normally does not interfere with attendee's work schedule. However, since some attendees of the 2017 meetup are continuing on to a 5 day cruise from the Port of Miami to Jamaica and Grand Cayman, the meetup for 2017 has been schedule on a Friday instead of Saturday. I had failed to note that many would be working around noon on Friday, the originally scheduled time, or may have difficulty getting a flight to arrive on time. For this reason, it has been changed to 8:00 p.m on Friday, March 31, 2017.

and/or organizing our
MEBO Happy Hour Meetup/Conference

This schedule change will actually work out better for numerous reasons:

1. It will allow everyone, including those who are coming with their family, to have fun family time at the beach together with the conference attendees, if you like.
2. Shade from the sun under the hot Miami sun at the rooftop terrace might be a problem at noon, whereas at 8:00 p.m., the sun is setting, the sky turns into many beautiful shades of orange and yellow, and the breeze is much cooler.

3. We can make this a Happy Hour Meetup/Conference. Those who like alcoholic beverages can get them at the bar in the lobby or anyone interested can bring a bottle of red wine, red grape juice, tea bags or whatever you like. I believe there will be a coffee machine in my room that we can use.
4. Anyone interested in bringing healthy munchies is welcome to do so.
