Miami June 22-24 : MEBO meetup are you attending ?

I'm very excited to announce MEBO’s 3rd annual meetup, which will be held at Miami South Beach on Saturday and Sunday, June 23rd and 24th, 2012. It will be held at the oceanfront Hotel Marseilles the northern part of South Beach, which is walking distance from the notorious Lincoln Road Mall, with its shops, sidewalk cafes, restaurants and bars. We can enjoy a stimulating stroll on the Beach Walk that runs north and south behind all the ocean front hotels and the southern section of South Beach, as shown in the video of pictures I took for this post.

• You may call in your own reservations and may do so to the toll free number at 800-327-4739 between 9:00a.m. and 7:00pm. If calling after these hours, the representative might not have access to the MEBO rate, but you can reserve your room anyway, and call back during the allotted time to change your reservations to the MEBO rate. Otherwise, you will not receive your $14 breakfast coupon offer.
• A valid credit card will be required at the time of booking to guarantee reservation, but your card will not be charged until check-in. See Cancellation policy below.
• Callers should refer to the “MEBO Research Inc. Group” to get the package deal (rate plus $14 breakfast coupon offer).
• All reservations requests must be received by the cut-off date of May 22, 2012.
• Reservations may also be faxed to 305-673-1006 or e-mailed directly to reservations@marseilleshotel.com.

NOTE: The hotel confirmed that the MEBO $99 rate will be extended to check in as early as June 19th and check out as late as June 27th. This is an extention of 3 days prior and 3 days after.

• MEBO's special group rate is $99.00 standard, per-room, per-night, plus 13.0% tax.
• Rate includes breakfast coupons for use at the hotel’s restaurant offered at a special group rate of $14.00 per person inclusive, per day for Full American Breakfast – plated.
• Rates extended are net, non-commissionable.
• Check-in time is after 3:00 PM, check-out time is prior to 12:00 Noon.
• All rooms extended at special group rate are in the standard category and require at least a 2 night minimum stay.
• If 10 rooms pick up we can extend one Junior Suite upgrade, where we will hold our meeting on Saturday, at no additional charge.

PAYMENT:

It is understood that each individual will pay their room, tax and incidentals directly to the hotel. A valid credit card will be required from each individual upon arrival.

CANCELLATION:

Should an individual cancellation be necessary, the hotel must be notified prior to 3 days of arrival date. Cancellations after that date will be assessed a one night’s room and tax penalty on the individual credit cards. Any cancellations received within 24 hours of arrival will be charged room & tax penalty equal to 50% of the revenue of the individual plus tax.

MISCELLANEOUS:

• Self-parking, if necessary, will be available at the rate of $30.00 per-car, per-day. Parking is provided on a first come, first serve basis. However, there is parking at Lincoln Road Mall parking garage (walking distance) for $8.00/day on Saturday and Sunday, and $13/day Monday thru Friday.
• Complimentary chaise lounges and towels are provided at the pool.
• Breakfast coupons for use at the hotel’s restaurant offered at a special group rate of $14.00 per person inclusive, per day for Full American Breakfast – plated.
