I would like to thank everyone for the kind condolence you have given me for my father's passing. He will be laid to rest this afternoon after the Service. It comforts us that he is no longer suffering, which gives my family and me great peace.

My father has been a pillar of strength upon which my family and friends have rested for what seems to be an eternity. Through the winding roads of a lifetime, he has steadfastly pursued righteousness and love and has striven to heal through forgiveness. His sense of fairness, justice, and compassion was evident by his insistence in elevating the ordinary to become exceptional. His genuine love of all living things has touched the lives of many, and I am deeply honored to have had the privilege of being reared by his wisdom and selfless love.
