USA survey for anyone who wants to improve Denver TMAU test

begun : Dec22
end : no ending for now

A trainee genetic counselor is working at the Denver TMAU test lab. Probably as part of her training. As a project she wishes feedback on any aspect of the Denver TMAU test and process. You can fill in the survey and/or email her (email address is in survey). It's meant for USA people, but perhaps others can give their view too (as we have so few opportunities).

quote from her rareconnect post

"Hello all! I wanted to make you aware of a research study being conducted to better understand the experience and needs of individuals with trimethylaminuria with a goal of being able to create improved patient and healthcare provider education materials. Any participation is completely voluntary and all responses remain confidential. Feel free to use the contact information within the link with any questions or share the survey with others with TMAU."

Thank you !

I would like to thank everyone for the kind condolence you have given me for my father's passing. He will be laid to rest this afternoon after the Service. It comforts us that he is no longer suffering, which gives my family and me great peace.

My father has been a pillar of strength upon which my family and friends have rested for what seems to be an eternity. Through the winding roads of a lifetime, he has steadfastly pursued righteousness and love and has striven to heal through forgiveness. His sense of fairness, justice, and compassion was evident by his insistence in elevating the ordinary to become exceptional. His genuine love of all living things has touched the lives of many, and I am deeply honored to have had the privilege of being reared by his wisdom and selfless love.

I love you papi.

I would like to thank everyone for their donations to the Trinzyme Project for TMAU Therapeutic Research. Your contribution, along with many more that we hope to receive, will help keep the cost of this medication as low as possible for all sufferers around the world and for all future generations. See Orphanet link to research project. In addition to the

£358,000 GBP Grant Award
MEBO's Scientific Advisor, Professor Elizabeth Shephard, PhD.,
has received from the UK Medical Research Council (MRC),

we have also raised the following:

£ 459.6/GBP
$ 463.00/USD
