In the case of sufferers of uncontrollable or difficult to control breath and body odor conditions, much of the emotions and socially hostile and isolating conditions are not new, as they currently are for the rest of the world. In fact, they've been the norm for years, and thus slowly but surely, psychological trauma sets in. Social isolation and frequent social bombardments of insults and rejection had already been a lifestyle for persons affected with this condition. The COVID-related lockdown and feelings of threat outside our homes and shelter have served only to highlight the psychological state that has been so familiar to so many sufferers around the world for generations!
Our MEBO Mental Health Director, Crissan, has provided us with practical tips on how to work through these feelings and the trauma it has produced. There is a way to calm them and to allow sufferers to move forward as a physical health solution is pursued and obtained by the scientific community.
We are most grateful to Crissan for her consistent concern and tremendous support to our community through the years!
